Something I just noticed:
Yankee pitcher A.J. Burnett shares the same name as a woman who used to perform on Beale Street during its heyday.
First baseman Mark Teixeira also shares the same name with a blues drummer.
If only CC Sabathia could play guitar and Derek Jeter could sing.
